Working at Home

Working at home is a dream for lots of parents.  Who doesn't want to stay home with the kids and still be able to keep food on the table and a roof overhead.  It really can be done.  The hard part is finding a legitimate work-at-home opportunity that will actually work.  When you think you have found something that will work for you, it could be a scam.  Let me give you some tips and pointers that I have learned through trial and error.

First of all, make sure a guarantee is offered.  This shows confidence in the company or product you are looking into.  No guarantee would be a definite "no go" for me.  And if there is a guarantee, make sure that it will be honored.  Some places offer a guarantee and then do not follow through.  Make sure you read the fine print.

You can find out more about a company by doing some basic research and checking testimonials.  Not just the testimonials that are on the site, but go to blogs and forums and see what you can find out.  You may be surprised what you can learn when you go "outside the box (or site)". You can also check to see if there is a BBB Rating or some kind of A+ Business rating.

You may also want to check for security ratings of a site that asks for personal information.  This way you can protect yourself from a site that may give out or sell your information.  If there is no security protection, I would say that's another "no go".

Don't let any of this scare you away from the whole work at home idea.  You deserve to be able to see your kids grow without someone else raising them.  And there are a lot of legitimate work at home opportunities out there.  You can do things like data entry (there are several types of data entry).  If you like to type, there are a lot of different typing jobs out there.  Surveys can make some extra money.  And that's just a sample.

You can also work at home without a computer.    Assembling products at home is something you can do without the internet even.  Or home mailer is another choice.  If you have enough automotive experience, you may be able to start your own basic auto business such as oil changes, tires, and simple mechanic work.

There seems to be unlimited opportunity to work at home online or offline.  I love working at home, and I know you would love it too.  In fact, I want to help you out with some tips to some legitimate home based opportunities that really can make you money.  Not get rich quick schemes, but honest jobs and opportunities that will really get you paid.
